About

Chip Cox is a contemporary digital artist whose work blends abstract, cubist, and pop art influences through his distinctive tablet-to-computer creative process.

Born in 1967 and raised in Missouri, Chip laid the foundation for his artistic career with a fine arts degree completed in 1989. His early professional life began in St. Louis as a computer graphics specialist, where he developed the technical skills that would later inform his unique artistic approach.

In 1997, Chip relocated to Chicago where he flourished as an art director in the advertising industry. This experience eventually led him to establish his own digital marketing business, CKI Digital.

Over his career, he has worked on graphics, video, and web projects for companies ranging from startups to fortune 100 companies.

In 2024, Chip, his wife Karen, and their son embarked on a new chapter by moving to the vibrant creative community of Austin, Texas. Today, Chip balances his artistic practice with website development and digital media projects for select clients.

Chip's artwork represents a seamless fusion of traditional artistic principles and contemporary digital techniques. He creates his distinctive pieces by beginning compositions on a tablet and then refining them through computer processing, resulting in work that occupies the intersection of cubism's structural complexity and pop art's bold cultural commentary.
